Hathazari (Bengali: হাটহাজারী) is an Upazila of Chittagong District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Hathazari is located at 22.5083° N 91.8083° E. It has 52,594 household units and total area of 251.28 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Hathazari has a population of 321,004. Males constitute are 51.62% of the population, and females 48.38%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 157,524. Hathazari has an average literacy rate of 48.3% (7+ years), against the national average of 32.4%. ^[2]
