[edit] Name?

His Majesty Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah -- Is that a joke?! 13:37, 16 September 2005 (UTC)

No - It's even longer on his offical potrait in my office!

The government's [1] site shows the name, "Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah"Xpanzion 03:22, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wives

[edit] Richest man?

Is he still the richest man in the world? Dont see anything past 1997 about that 129.8.135.245 18:40, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Children

Is there a list of all of his children somewhere? Just saw something on TV about one of his sons, but I don't think it's the one that's mentioned. Morhange 19:07, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 60th Birthday gibberish

Under the "60th Birthday" section, it says "Other celebrations includes the Sultan visiting citizens with causal wears." I have no idea what they're talking about. The Sultan was wearing casual clothing? He was visiting citizens who wore casual clothing? Can anyone make sense of this? Bricology 16:52, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Agreed 6 months later and this bit hasn't been cleaned up so let's remove the casual wears until it can be translated better Dreamlogic (talk) 08:37, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Motor cars

Appart from other gibberish: the car collection was (partly) sold or auctioned off after Prince Jefris misdoings surfaced. For example the sultan no longer owns six Dauer 962. I don't have and can't find a source for that right now, maybe someone else does. (I read somewhere that a book was in the making on this collection, don't know what came out of that either. Know any details?) Agentbla (talk) 04:29, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Number

1485-1524 : Sultan Bolkiah. Some sultans have numbers, in the western transcription, but also in the official site of the Government (sultans Jamalul Alam I and II, Omar I, II and III). If we observe, the current sultan's father was Omar III (Omar Ali Saifuddin), so can't we call him Bolkiah II ? Thank you.--Cyril-83 12:42, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Honorific Prefixes... article needs clean up

uses of these are outlined in the style guide: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_%28biographies%29#Honorific_prefixes and most should be removed from the article. Any objections? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Macutty (talkcontribs) 23:27, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
