My editing on the ships of the Haskell-class is dedicated to all the men who served on them or rode them to battle. Especially Lt. [jg] Robert G. P. Shalders, USN, Engineer, "B" Division, USS Lanier (APA-125); whose all too brief acquaintance inspired me. I wish I'd had more time to hear his story. --J Clear 03:33, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
