Hashimoto (橋本市 Hashimoto-shi?) is a city located in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.
As of March 1, 2008, the city has an estimated population of 67,494 and a density of 518 persons per km². The total area is 130.31 km².
Its sister city is Rohnert Park, California.

- The city was founded on January 1, 1955.
- On March 1, 2006, the town of Koyaguchi from Ito District merged into the city of Hashimoto.
