Hashem Abd al-Rahman

Hashem Abd al-Rahman, also known as Hashem Abdul Rahman, is the current mayor of Umm al-Fahm, an Arab town in the Wadi Ara region of Israel. He was elected to the post in 2007. Abd al-Rahman previously served two terms as deputy mayor. He is a Muslim and a member of the Islamic Movement party in Israel.
