The name of the Town of Hasan is probably of Irish or Arabic origin. It can be spelled as Hassan and Hasan. See Hassan (given name) or Hassan (surname).

Hasan is located in the northern part of the state of Florida. It is part of Alachua county. Hasan is close to Gainesville to the South, to Jacksonville to the East and also to Lake City to the North.
