Researching into the history of the Manchester Regiment from 1899 to 1958 with sections on the Boer War, the Great War, the Second World War and more. The site is battalion order, the Regular battalions, the Territorial Battalions, the New Army and Pals Battalions of the Great War with their history and individual soldier's stories told. With access to The National Archives and unheard of access to war diaries and photographs

The group is linked with the Manchester Regiment Museum[2] and the Regimental Archives[3] and works along side them

There is an active forum[4] where on-line research takes place amongst the very active forum members which includes the Regimental Historian, ex soldiers, and expert genealogists.
