Harfang lives in Minneapolis, MN, USA. She is mostly uneducated past high school (which is why she works in retail/print production) due to long-term illness, and is currently making a start at fixing that. She hopes to become a cartographer, or to work with GIS in any fashion. She has perfect pitch. She reads Hebrew, reads and somewhat speaks French, and has near-fluency in Russian once she has been re-immersed a bit. Aside from maps, her main interests are Central Asia and its music, overtone/throat singing, the peoples of North America's Northwest coast, Mesopotamia and all it has been since, language and linguistics, LGBT issues (especially lesbian and bi female visibility), genealogy, analog electronic keyboards, her Judaism, raptors, bats, spiders, reptiles, sexual and romantic subtext in TV and movies, moderate recreational use of absinthe, various specific aspects of cultures, and a great many musical genres and artists/groups.
