[edit] Usage

{{Harvcoltxt | ''Last name of author(s)'' | ''Year'' | ''Location in the text'' }}

Alternative to using Location, you may also use the following parameters:

p = page pp = pages

Notes
  • Trivially modified version of Harvard citation; used to display colon for page numbers when authors name is part of the text.
  • The first parameter is the author's last name.
  • The second parameter is the year of publication.
  • The third parameter is the location of the cited material within the reference. This parameter is optional.
  • The parameter p is an optional page parameter.
  • The parameter pp is an optional page range parameter.
  • If Ref=none, then no hyperlink is created.
{{ Harvcoltxt |Diamond|2000|pp=12-24}}

{{ Harvcoltxt |Diamond|2000}}

{{Harvcoltxt|Tsuchida|Yamada|1991}}

[edit] Include page number in link

Right now, the optional page number is not part of the link. That looks a bit odd. It would be nice if it were included. I had a look, but I’m afraid of doing things wrong, so could some better hacker do this? H. (talk) 14:42, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
