Also, Harsh reality are cited in Vernon Joynson's book, The Tapestry of Delights :
"A heavy organ-based progressive underground rock band whose obscure album is now very rare and highly-rated by those who've been lucky enough to hear it. Thought to have been Welsh, their sound was heavily influenced by Procol Harum. Barnwell was later with Ian Matthews Southern Comfort, Roger Swallow later went on to Principle Edwards Magic Theatre and the Albion Country Band. The other members went into session work. The album's finer moments include the title cut and "Devil's Daughter"."

I mentioned how keyboardist Steve Miller joined Caravan; I think that that is relevant.

[edit] Corrections
I really need to put you right on one or two points.
Firstly Harsh Reality came from Hertfordshire and were previously known as 'The Freighliner Blues Band', three of the original members of the band who appeared on the Heaven and Hell album were, Alan Greed, Organ and vocals, Steve Miller Bass guitar and Dave Jenkins, guitar.
Alan went on to work with Ray Russell on the Rock Workshop albums and as a session singer.
