It's sorta true they totally disliked each other but I think it unfairly presents the actual cause. It was Reasoner being unable to accept a woman competitor that soured the relationship. In reaction to that maybe then Walters disliked him, but I think that is lost as the section is currently written. A case could also be made, which I won't make, is that at the time Walters may not have been regarded in the industry as a journalist's journalist. While that would be totally off the mark considering the career she has had since the days of ABC Evening News, she may have come onto the Evening News without the experience the other correspondant's brought from war reporting days. comment?Kyle Andrew Brown 06:40, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
