it should be noted Harry Carson was a converted DT. Coach Marty Shotenhiemer a lb coach for the giants at time coverted him to a mike backer. He played the position for the fist time in the NFL. Parcells has stated Carson could have been an effective DT as well; he would have been able to make the transition on an NFL level.
