Please do not delete this article. The context for this piece is that I am attempting to write about every cricketer who has ever appeared for Yorkshire County Cricket club, as per the list of Yorkshire CCC players. This article is part of that project. Although Atkinson played just one match it is notable as he is one of the few players to score a pair in his one and only first class appearance. It seems harsh to delete a page which has only just been written. I will add to it in the future, but I cannot do everything at once.
