[edit] Expand the biography

It seems to me that one reason this article was placed on the deletion list was because the biography on the main page is still so short. It is a stub, after all. Adding some more facts to Ironside's biography would provide better evidence for others to weigh his notability. DFH 19:20, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Agreed...I found a lot of appropriate material, but didn't want to invest the time in writing a good article if it would just then get deleted. I figured that one of the criteria of WP:BIO is multiple publications, so I thought by at least documenting these for the moment it might get the article saved. Akradecki 20:09, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
For similar reasons, I justed added the sentence about his influence. DFH 17:45, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Okay, I've just re-written much of the page, as promised during the AfD discussion, exanding the biography. I don't have time at the moment to expand the section on Ironside's theological influence, but will eventually, but if someone wants to have a crack at it first, be my guest.... There are still 3 red links in the expanded biography. DFH 19:21, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Any harm in leaving them, to prompt future articles? There used to be one on Moody Church, but it was deleted for copyright violations, as it was a direct cut-and-paste from the Church's website. Akradecki 19:26, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
