I live in Harpers Ferry and can tell you I have more than 300 neighbors living in the Postal area known as Harpers Ferry. Perhaps you should clarify that you ment the historical section.

I'm actually a direct decendant of Robert Harper's brother. I'm trying to trace my ancestry back to when my relatives came from england, so if you have any information, please post it here—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.133.49 (talk) 22:03, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Needs verification
A couple of discrepancies with the info on the official site (http://www.harpersferrywv.us/)
- Year Harper bought land (1747 or 1751)?
- Year in which decision to build the armory was made (1794 or 1796)?
- Year in which Armory was built (1796 or 1799)?
- How many John Brown's troops there were (18 or 21)? NPS
There may be more... Qblik 04:43, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
