[edit] Problems with this article

Most of this article is either unsupported or outright wrong. There is no official definition of an icefield, so the number four is not based on anything, the NPS website in the citation is completely unrelated and does neither mention the number of icefields in the US not anything else from this article. --h-stt !? 18:13, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Ok, by now I know, where the number four comes from: There are four objects in the GNIS-database that are called icefield or ice field. That's hardly a useful definition in the way it is used in this article. Please go thorugh the whole thing and delete everything that is not substantiated by reputable sources. --h-stt !? 18:57, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
