[edit] Photo

That guy on the photo is definitely not Harald Schmidt.

True. It is a photo of Joseph Schmidt (cf. also http://www.mdr.de/mdr-figaro/programm/1243050-hintergrund-129509.html ). I remember Harald Schmidt's photo next to his biography, but I'm afraid it's gone irrevocably—someone seems to have uploaded Schmidt.jpg with exactly the same title, which means the old one has been deleted.
The same sort of thing happened to me ages ago with a picture of Jacqueline Bisset. The only thing we can do now is get rid of that photo and decide if it can find a new home where it would belong, i e on the Joseph Schmidt page. <KF> 17:46, Oct 6, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Internet meme

Should we add how Harald Schmidt has become an Internet meme started by 4chan? Here's the picture of the meme: http://omake.studio-zoe.com/fgsfds.jpg .The meme's explanation can be found at http://www.wikiworld.com/wiki/index.php/4chan : Use your browser's find function to find fgsfds. I don't see why not. This meme is the only reason most non-German people know who he is.Peaceoutside (talk) 03:40, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
That source no longer supports information regarding 4chan, nor the fgsfds meme. Tar7arus (talk) 16:39, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] silly photograph

The photograph which was just added is silly. You can't see a bloody thing of what's important, can you? I still don't know how to add photographs to articles. Can anyone choose a better photograph than this one and add it?? Would be grand. --Fromgermany 17:44, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] stupid style

Whoever wrote this article (guess, he was German) has a bad style. My English isn't better either... Someone else should rewrite it a bit. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 89.52.158.5 (talk) 10:35, 7 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Plagiarism

I have removed the sentence claiming that he plagiarised from David Letterman. If anyone feels that it is true and can provide citations, then by all means add it again. Davedim (talk) 18:42, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
