February 1, 2007: A release date for the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has been announced! Author J K Rowling announced on her website that the final book of the Harry Potter series will be published on July 21, 2007. [2]. The release will come only eight days after the release of the new movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

December 21, 2006: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be the title for the 7th and final book. J K Rowling revealed this at her website on. Visitors had to play a game of hangman to find out the title.

Unknown: More new people for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie have been cast! Warner Bros. announced that they have selected the actresses to play four previously uncast roles. Evanna Lynch will be playing Luna Lovegood, Helena Bonham Carter will take the role of Bellatrix Lestrange, Imelda Staunton will be Dolores Umbridge, and Natalia Tena will play Nymphadora Tonks. Robbie Jarvis was selected to play Young James Potter, and George Harris will be Kingsley Shacklebolt. The movie will arrive in theaters July 13, 2007 to the US, the UK, and Canada.
