The image is of a whisky ad in which the Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who is a Sikh appeared. The advert is notable because it resulted in widespread anti-Harbhajan riots in Punjab (India), and attracted condemnation from religious leaders and the Sikh community, because he appeared without his turban. Fair use is claimed because

• It depicts a historical event - that of Harbhajan appearing in the withdrawn advert
• Is not reproducible with a free alternative.
• Is used in the Harbhajan Singh article for critical commentary and an analysis.
