Harvey Dorfman

Harvey Dorfman has worked in education and psychology as a teacher, counselor, coach, and consultant. In 1999, Dorfman became a full-time consultant in sport psychology and staff development for the Scott Boras Corporation, an agency that represents professional baseball players. A free-lance journalist, Dorfman lectures at major universities and for corporations on psychlogy, self-enhancement, management strategies, and leadership training.

Recognized worldwide in the field of sports psychology, H. A. Dorfman is currently a full-time consultant for the Scott Boras Corporation, which represents professional athletes. Dorfman has also been a lecturer, columnist, and journalist, his work having appeared in New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, and Miami Herald, among other periodicals. He wrote a regular column for PRO, a magazine for professional athletes. Dorfman has authored three books: The Mental Game of Baseball, The Mental ABC's of Pitching, and The Mental Keys to Hitting. He resides in Brevard, North Carolina.
