Hartsdown Technology College (also HTC) is a Secondary School, in Margate, Kent which teaches years' 7-14 (UK school years). The school has served its community and the young people of Margate since 1958 and is looking forward to celebrating its 50-year anniversary in 2008.
The school holds the Arts Council of England, 'Arts Mark' and is a holder of the Investors in People standard.
It has 1,200 students and 150+ staff.
The school failed to meet the 30% GCSE target.[1][2]
