Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, (born 29 August 1988), is an English sprint athlete. In 2005 he was named as the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Young Personality and the IAAF's Rising Star of the Year after becoming the first athlete to win gold medals at both 100 m and 200 m at the World Youth Championships.

Aikines-Aryeetey was born in Surrey to Ghanaian parents. He studied at Greenshaw High School in Sutton, London from 2000-2006. He competes for the Sutton and District club and has a personal best of 10.18 seconds over 100 m and 20.91 seconds over 200 m. On June 11, 2006 he competed in the 100 m at Gateshead in which Asafa Powell equalled the world record of 9.77 s. A great performer but known for winning championships without the times to match the occasion. He has also been critised for his body builder physique that makes him look like a man against boys.

On Wednesday 16th August 2006, he won gold in the 100m at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Athletics, held in Beijing, China, in a time of 10.37, a season's best.

He was advised not to run in 2007 due to nimor fractures in the spine that could effect later developmet but returned to action in 2008 with a PB of 6.59 in France to signal a return to form. Also in his opening race in the 2008 outdoor season he smashed his PB with 10.18 (+1.4), this time achieves the olympic A qualifying standard, although to book his place on the Beijing team he will need to prove himself in the British Trials in July against the likes of Marlon Devonish and Craig Pickering! But with Mark Lewis-Francis out injured he looks a shooin to gain a Relay spot at the least!
