Harlee McBride (born in 1949 as Sherry Spadaro) is an actress, and the wife of actor/comedian Richard Belzer since 1985. She graduated from Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles in 1967.
One of her early works was Young Lady Chatterley (1977), an R-rated film (a variant on the erotic classic Lady Chatterley's Lover) that was given frequent late-night airplay in the early years of pay cable TV services such as HBO and Cinemax.
Though her film career has been fairly sparse, in recent years she has raised her profile by occasionally appearing as a guest actress in TV shows and movies, most notably as a medical examiner on Homicide: Life on the Street, which starred Belzer.
Belzer has commented on what an odd couple they seem to make, with her striking appearance contrasting vividly with his street-worn look, both of which have worked well for their respective career choices.
