Harford Community College is a community college in Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland. The college was founded in 1957. The campus occupies 332 acres, and has 21 buildings totaling over 273,000 assignable square feet.[1]

In the mid 1990's, the college began expanding, adding a new library, Fallston Hall, Edgewood Hall, new parking, and an expanded baseball facility. Future expansion is expected.[2]

More students transfer to Towson University than any other college.[2]

Satirically known as "USC" - University of Schuck's Corner and "UCLA" - University Campus Left of Aberdeen.

The mascot for HCC is Screech the fighting owl.

Harford Community College celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2007.
