The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, is a premier destination entertainment resort owned and operated by Morgans Hotel Group and equity partner DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. The property is located on 16.7 acres on the corner of Harmon and Paradise Road, inside the Paradise Corridor.
This landmark property offers a unique entertainment and gaming experience with the services and amenities associated with a boutique luxury resort hotel. Always a popular music destination, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino hosts such live acts as the Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, David Bowie, Snoop Dogg, Nine Inch Nails and The Killers.
Features of the property currently include an 11-story Hard Rock Hotel tower with 647 guestrooms and a 30,000-square-foot (2,800 m²) casino—though a 750 million-dollar renovation is currently underway that will more than double the size of the property. The Tahitian-style beach for a swimming pool was selected by the Travel Channel as one of "The Top 10 Pools" in the world. The celebrity packed Body English nightclub is world famous. "The Joint" is Las Vegas’ first legitimate and relevant rock venue. Five restaurants, including the world famous Nobu, AGO, Pink Taco, AJ’s Steakhouse; three cocktail lounges; several retail stores; and Rock Spa, an 8,000-square-foot (740 m²) spa, salon and fitness center.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino was built in 1995 by Peter Morton, a co-founder of the Hard Rock Cafe franchise, expanded in 1999, and began another expansion in 2007. The property has always been considered a “boutique” property in comparison to the other giant resorts on the Strip.
On May 11, 2006, the Morgans Hotel Group signed definitive agreements to purchase the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas together with rights to use the Hard Rock name for hotels and casinos in the Western US and certain other territories, 23 acres of land for expansion and the Hard Rock Cafe on the corner of Harmon and Paradise for $770 million.

The hotel was featured in the film Con Air with Nicholas Cage — the fugitive plane crashes through the hotel's prominent Fender Stratocaster guitar. It was also featured in the recently released 21 (2008 film) starring Jim Sturgess, Kevin Spacey, and Kate Bosworth.
The hotel is featured prominently in the 3rd season episode "Vegas Baby, Vegas!" of the HBO series Entourage. It also appears in the season 1 episode "The Strip" of FOX's The O.C., and on MTV's Bam's Unholy Union.

The Joint is the most authentic rock club in Las Vegas and is considered the venue of choice for the Rock elite. The state-of-the-art facility offers both performers and guests the very best in technology and access. A pedigree of rock royalty has graced its stage, from The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan to Coldplay, Motley Crue and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, just to name a few. Along with hundreds of concerts, The Joint is also home to Beacher's Madhouse, a wild variety show with celebrity guests and the famous beacher babies.

Body English is the premier nightclub of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Start the weekend at Body English on Friday night at “Indulge” – the Vegas version of a posh gifting suite where hundreds of beautiful women are lavished with gifts from the world’s best brands. At Body English on Saturday night join E! The Daily 10’s Sal Masekela and Ben Lyons with DJ Clinton Sparks at their exclusive Smashtime party. And of course you haven’t partied in Las Vegas if you haven’t partied at Body English on Sunday night. The club’s most outrageous party, Sunday School, indulges every fantasy as ladies in school-girl outfits drink free champagne all night. Designed by Kelly Wearstler, Body English features two self-contained bars on different levels, an expansive dance floor and 41 VIP booths within the 7,500 sq ft (700 m²). space. The space is pure rock luxury and decadence with gorgeous waitresses dressed in their best lingerie and a vintage $250,000 Baccarat chandelier.

Rehab is a world-renowned Las Vegas pool party held on Sundays at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Beach Club. Rehab Sunday is a party where thousands of people from all over the world come together to party poolside like rock stars – the gorgeous, the tattooed, the rich, the famous revel in the great music, sun, sand, water, swim-up gaming, delicious drinks, and dancing.

Friday Night Live is the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s poolside summer concert series at the world famous Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Beach Club. It is the only place where you can see big name acts from Snoop Dogg to the Violent Femmes while partying poolside at Las Vegas’ best Beach Club.

Wasted Space will be a true rock club; gritty and edgy with a high-end twist.
A longtime friend of Phil’s, Carey Hart (motocross rider) wanted to create a place where in his words, “my peers and I could hang out.” Wasted Space will be the only place in Las Vegas where you can really get up close and personal with rock legends like Carey’s former wife Alecia Moore, otherwise known as Pink, as well as see the newest rock bands make their break into superstar status.

The newest restaurant to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, AGO is an elegant Italian trattoria named after its celebrated executive chef partner, Agostino Sciandri. AGO is best known for its authentic Tuscan-style Italian fare that emphasizes light and simple cooking with signatures dishes such as Burrata con Fagiolini, Tagliatelle al Ragu Antico, and Branzino ai Ferri con Pane Profumato. AGO has been recognized for popularizing the Northern Italian style of cooking in Los Angeles along with attracting a loyal celebrity clientele due to it’s Hollywood heavyweight partners – including Robert DeNiro.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas features an 11-story Hard Rock Hotel tower with 648 guestrooms, 64 suites and one penthouse. The hotel includes amenities that range from high-speed Internet, 42’ Plasma televisions with first-run movies on demand, minibars, French doors, Bose CD stereos and exclusive bath amenities.
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has been through renovations and expansions since its inception in 1995, but the 2008-2010, the property will undergo a $750 million expansion and renovation, the largest in the hotel and casino’s history. The expansion will include the building of two new hotel towers, one with 550 rooms, and another with 400 new suites.
Additionally, there will be 35,000 sq ft (3,300 m²). of additional gaming space, including a poker room, that will more than double the current size of the casino.

The brand new celebrity suites are located on the 11th floor of the Hard Rock Hotel. Designed by New York-based architect Mark Zeff, the celebrity suites are designed to exceed all celebrity expectations. The celebrity suites are decadent, high-end in design and boasts extravagant detail.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino features a 30,000-square-foot (2,800 m²) casino that includes table games including, blackjack, roulette, and poker, as well as the one-of-a-kind swim up blackjack. The casino also features the Fender Room, a high-limit slot machine room and the Peacock Lounge, a high-limit gaming room.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino features over 60,000 square feet (5,600 m²) of meeting space and an additional 136,000 square feet (12,600 m²) of special event space. In 2009, an expansion of the hotel and casino will add an additional 60,000 square feet (5,600 m²) of convention space.

The multi-phase project will bring several new restaurants and bars, a nightclub and a spa and health club, including Italian trattoria, AGO; and Wasted Space, from motocross legend Carey Hart. The expansion will dramatically increase capacity at the property’s two signature attractions, the pool and The Joint. The Joint will more than triple the seating capacity with new audio and lighting equipment installed to deliver the best performances in Vegas. Additionally the pool will have new features including a topless-bathing section, more room for partying, sunbathing, and special performances.
