Harcharan Singh

Harcharan Singh (born 1986), is the first Sikh officer to be recruited in the Pakistan Army. He was born in Nankana Sahib, the birth place of Guru Nanak.

Harcharan passed his matriculation from the Government Guru Nanak High School and passed his FSc (pre-engineering) in 2004 from Forman Christian College, Lahore. He then passed Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) examination in 2006 after failing once.
[edit] Graduation
Harcharan was commissioned into the army by the Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on 17 April 2006 at Pakistan Military Academy at Kakul in North-West Frontier Province (NWFP).
Harcharan had told reporters
