Harborough is a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

[edit] Boundaries

The constituency is named for Market Harborough, seat of the Harborough local government district. The constituency excludes eastern suburbs of Leicester which are in the district, and includes the district of Oadby and Wigston.

Following their review of parliamentary representation in Leicestershire, the Boundary Commission for England has made only minor changes to the existing constituency arrangement. The modified constituency will be formed by the following electoral wards;

  • The entire borough of Oadby and Wigston
  • From Harborough Bosworth, Fleckney, Glen, Kibworth, Lubenham, Market Harborough-Great Bowden and Arden, Market Harborough-Little Bowden, Market Harborough-Logan, and Market Harborough-Welland
