Harbert S. Gregory was born in 1917. He was the founder of Gregory-Salisbury & Company, Inc. He was also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Electrical Equipment, Incorporated. It should also be noted he served in the U.S. Navy.
Harbert Gregory attended the University of Florida, and in 1938 he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. He was big into manufacturing, and served on the Benton Engineering Council. In the Fall of 1996 he was honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award.[1]
