Happy School, situated in Darya Ganj is a public co-ed school, established by Late Shri Padam Chand Ji.

The roots of the school go back to the establishment of Happy Education Society, and a primary school by the name of J. K. Happy School (Churi Walan), in 1933.

The portals of the Secondary Wing of the school were opened in 1953, at Darya Ganj, in New Delhi.
The school has been flourishing at the above mentioned location since then. Being one of the pioneer academicians of Delhi, Late Shri Padam Chand Ji visualised an institution to cater to the education needs of the generation that would bear future leaders, teaches, entrepreneurs, teachers et al.

The motto of the institute: "To grow physically, mentally, emotionally and intellectually the child must essentially be happy." - Shri Padam Chand(Founder)
