This is an imdb-like template, used for Wikipedia:Template messages/Links to an entry at the Handbook of Texas.

It takes at least two arguments, an id and a name. If the URL for the Handbook of Texas entry looks like:

• http://www.tshaonline.org/handbook/online/articles/AA/fau14.html

then the corresponding version using the template looks like:

as can be seen here:
