Luedke's patents for keyboards are the earliest I find claiming use of nested, hexagonal touch pieces intended for tunings with different numbers of notes, though Dreschke (1846) and Nordbo (1916) claimed them for whole tone keyboards with notes duplicated to improve fingering consistency.Mireut 19:40, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
