[edit] Jewish?

The article lists him as being in the Category:Jewish chess players. I seem to recall reading an article in which Kmoch asserted, or at least implied, that he himself was not Jewish, but his wife was, which was why they got out of Europe in the 1930s. Anybody got a primary reference one way or the other? -- Bill-on-the-Hill 15:47, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

I think you could be thinking of this: http://www.chesscafe.com/text/kmoch05.txt, written by Kmoch, where Alekhine in an anti-Jewish rant questions Kmochs ability to be objective in the 1935 World Championship match, referring to Kmoch's Jewish wife. --Tba66 (talk) 12:39, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
