Is it known for a fact that he is gay in his personal life, or is this article just saying that he makes gay porn films? -- Zoe

Both are accurate if his participating in gay pride events has any baring on his own profession of his sexual preference.

It is stereotypical, inaccurate, and archaic to state that submissive acts in gay porn (or 'real life' for that matter) are delegated to effeminate characters. Gay men of all 'types' and mannerisms enjoy being submissive or bottoming, both in porn and real life.
