Chris Hampson is the most versile player on the team being able to play in every postion, and on numerous occasion been called upon to play in net, and performed at a high standard. Each player has there own perks they bring to the team, with Andrew Gower being the key central midfielder being able to play a extremely accurate pass no matter the distance, but unfortunatly lacks a vital finish. Ben Marsh a very hard working midfielder, very strong, but agen can't shoot for toffee. Ross a very good winner of the ball very niggley, never stops trying to win the ball, very hard working. Azam and Shaz two very similar players, vwery quick feet, bamboozling defenders and midfields alike and very good at getting past there men, and applying a finsih or a decent pass. Tom Marsh very good full back always looking to surport the attack, very hard working and never gives up, wears his hear on his sleve. Tom Lomas very good all round player, plays well in every position he is put in, just as good going forward as his is defending, a key player to the team, as he can replace players on the team, but also start games and play very well. Richard Winders good shot stopper and a safe pair of hands inbetween the sticks.
[edit] Before the PODS
Before the PODS every player has played at a high level on 11 a side, but due to work commitments none of the players can participate in 11 a side games. Shaz and Andrew have had the most joy at 11 a side level playing for Warrington Town, while other players have played at a equally high level. Chris Hampson also plays on a Wednesday 7 a side league for Broussia Boots and is a regular starter on the team, and often a contender for top goal scorer for the season. Chris Hampson has also played for Real Madras, while Hampson was in a Madras shirt, he helped propel them from the Division B, to Divison A, and helped them contend for the title, before a crucial ankle injury that nearly ended his carear, but extra hours in the gym and hard physio Hampson is back and just a s good as ever.
[edit] The Fans
The Fans consist of Amy Chadwick, Rebecca Covili, Tom Allwood, and occasion Tom Henize. When the PODS are ubnder pressure a cheerful 'Come On Guys' from Amy Chadwick often picks up the sprit of the Marsh Twins and helps them carry on through the periods of pressure. While the smiling face of Tom Allwood helps the rest of the team pick up their sprits and get through the rough times on the pitch.
[edit] THE CRITIC
There is one person that trys to dampen the spirts of the PODS every week. His name 'Peter Edwards' once a keen contender for a PODS shirt, but lost out to Ross, as Ross is just clearly better in all departments than Peter, it is often said that Peter is jealous that he can not be a part of the rising team that is the PODS. He is so jealous that he gathers a team together to play the PODS every thursday, in an attempt to salvage his pride, but he always finds himself red faced as the PODS over come there side 'the ANTI-PODS.' He often gets angry and uses unpleasant language in a friendly game. He is cleary just green with jealousy that he can not play for the PODS.
