Doesn't this guy have a surname?--Greasysteve13 07:23, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] surname
- No, about a quarter of the Guantanamo detainees from Afghanistan don't have surnames.
- FWIW the intelligence analysts at Guantanamo seemed to find this daunting. There are a bunch of Guantanamo detainees who were listed with a FNU or LNU next to their name on the April 20th official list, whose names were arbitrarily broken up, in order to fit into the western first name(s), surname format. I call them "the brother's Ullah". As their single names all ended in "ullah", and someone at Guantanamo arbitrarily changed how their names were represeentd on on thMay 15th list.
