[edit] Summary

This is a photograph of the courthouse of Hamilton County, Nebraska, USA, taken by Bkell in the fall of 2003. The courthouse is made of red sandstone and was built in 1895. It occupies the most prominent position in the town of Aurora—the center of the town square—and is the tallest building in town, with the exception of the large grain elevators.

There are strobe lights at the top level of the tower that flash at night. These are a memorial to Dr. Harold E. "Doc" Edgerton, who was from Aurora.
