Hamlet Mkhitaryan (Armenian: Համլետ Մխիթարյան; Persian: هملت مخيترين, born November 24, 1973 in Yerevan, Armenia) is an Armenian football player. He currently plays for Rah Ahan F.C. and the Armenia national football team. He usually plays as a midfielder.

In 2005, Mkhitaryan was on the verge of signing with Scottish team Hearts, but the deal did not go through due to work permit complications. In October 2006, he joined the Tehrani club Pas in Iran's Premier Football league. In 2007 after Pas Tehran was officially dissolved he signed with Rah Ahan F.C..

Having debuted for Armenia in 1994, he currently has 55 caps and 2 goals for Armenia. He scored the winning goal for Armenia in their 1-0 win vs Poland in Euro 2008 Qualifying in Yerevan.
