[edit] Incorrect Schedule Updates

Can people please be aware that for some reason, the official Hallam FM website is showing an incorrect programme schedule. For example, it states that Dave Henning presents on Saturdays 2pm-6pm, however he actually left the station in around October 2007. Please avoid updating the information on this article to reflect the schedule on the website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.206.183.19 (talk) 13:42, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

There shouldn't be a schedule there as stated at What Wikipedia is not - Directories, directory entries, electronic program guide, or a resource for conducting business. The only reason why it hasn't been deleted from the article is that ideally, schedules should be converted to prose with third party references to confirm notability. --tgheretford (talk) 16:39, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright Violation

I removed an edit which had text copied and pasted from Media UK, whose text is copyrighted: http://www.mediauk.com/the_knowledge/i.muk/Hallam_FM in this edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hallam_FM&diff=119669757&oldid=117609101 --tgheretford (talk) 08:19, 2 April 2007 (UTC) It was hardly copyright, i just pasted the frequencies!

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hallamfm.jpg

Image:Hallamfm.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:07, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merger proposal

I'm reopening this discussion on merging the Radio Hallam article into this one (there was 'no consensus' last time - see the brief discussion above). It seems illogical that this radio station has two separate articles for different phases of its history.

'Radio Hallam' and 'Hallam FM' are two different names for the same station. Of course, the format of the station has changed over the years, but this did not happen overnight when the station changed its name. The station didn't change ownership, or premises when the name was changed - it was simply a re-branding.

If there are no objections, I'll go ahead with the merge in a few days. Vl'hurg talk 11:17, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Someone else has removed the other article now anyway, without merging. I've retrieved some relevant content from the history and merged it with this article. Vl'hurg talk 23:35, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
