[edit] Is Hall a suburb?

In the edit field nixie asked whether Hall was a suburb. On the canberra Spatial Plan it is marked as an 'urnab' area, as opposed to a 'rural vilage'. On the 'Canberra by Suburbs' website though it appears niether in Belconner nor in Gungahlin and appears to be a district of its own. This doesn't answer the question of whether it is a suburb or not. I would argue that it doesn't have the local character of a suburb, but rather that of a village. I will do some more research and ask some friends who work in the releavant Gov't Dept. Adz 07:52, 9 September 2005 (UTC).

Yes, I think I did read somewhere that its technically a village. Some people think its a suburb though: |Google search: "suburb of hall" canberra gets a few results. Astrokey44 06:25, 12 September 2005 (UTC)
