[edit] Nickname

I am trying to get a reliable reference for Hal Gill's Nickname "USS Gill" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.3.125.134 (talk) 17:58, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

You can put the nickname in provided that you have a source. I've never heard that nickname used in broadcasts for either the Leafs or the Pens. The reason we source nicknames is because people make them up all the time - I personally call Tomas Kaberle "Taxi Kab" and refer to Matt Stajan and Kyle Wellwood as the Baby Face Crew.-Wafulz (talk) 18:07, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Listen to Mike Lange and Phil Borque on WXDX 105.9 the X. They use the USS Gill all the time. [1] (talk)
