"Half a World Away" is a song written and recorded by American band R.E.M. It is the eighth track on the band's 1991 album Out Of Time.
The song was never released as a single but maintains the distinct musical style throughout the Out of Time album and is the only track on the album to introduce a harpsichord, alongside Mills's Hammond organ.
