Haldun Dormen (born April 5, 1928 in Mersin, Turkey) is a famous Turkish theatre / film actor and film director.

He was born in Mersin, Turkey in 1928. He moved to Istanbul with his family in his early childhood. He finished his secondary education at Galatasaray Lisesi and high school education at Robert College in Istanbul. Then he went to the USA for a university degree and graduated from the theatre department at Yale University. Having finished his education he returned to Turkey and started his theatrical career at "Küçük Sahne" which was directed by Muhsin Ertuğrul.
