Haimchar (Bengali: হাইমচর) is an Upazila of Chandpur District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Haimchar is located at . It has 20946 units of house hold and total area 174.49 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Haimchar has a population of 113306. Males constitute are 51.29% of the population, and females 48.71%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 52033. Haimchar has an average literacy rate of 25.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
