Höchst im Odenwald is a municipality in the Odenwaldkreis district, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated in the Odenwald, 25 km east of Darmstadt. With a population of round 10.000 people Höchst and its suburbs are still growing. In 2005, construction of a bypass of the road Bundesstraße 45 around Höchst has started, in order to decrease traffic in town.
