Gyrshelun

Gyrshelun (Russian: Гыршелун) is a village under Linevo Ozero's jurisdiction in Khiloksky District of Zabaykalsky Krai. The settlement is on the right bank of the Khilok River 17 km eastwards of Khilok.

Gyrshelun was founded in 1895 as most of the villages of the district because of the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway. A small railway station and a sawmill were established in 1905 and the settlement started growing rapidly. From the 1960s to the 90s there was a resort for railroad workers. Gyrshelun's population as of 2002 is 916.
