We did not write the original article or the statement "and the skill of some of their best members frequently surprises people."

I also respect Wikipedia and its role as an unbiased source of material, so I know this is not the place for PR.

Members pointed out that people were changing the article from its original version. So I put back the original statement from what I could remember, thinking that someone from one of the "competitive gaming communities" was trying to play with the article for their own malicious purpose.

And in fact no where on our website does it say that we claim to be the best clan or the best gamers. Some of our girls are really amazing gamers, but no where does it say that they are BETTER. What you will find in any article anywhere is that our main purpose is to be a safe haven for female gamers, which is why the clan is so large. You should also take note that we accept ANY female gamer, not the best female gamers. This of course will affect our competition performance. But of course, our main goal is to accept all female gamers, not focus on winning competitions. Just the fact that we can help any female make it to a public male dominated event is a privilege. Especially, if they tended to be shy or embarrassed during online play, like many of us were.

Also, we were just recently sponsored and it's something we worked very hard for by not only attracting so many female gamers but also having good sportsmanship when we play. If you look at our sponsors/partners, WITI, Xbox Live, FiOS, they don't sponsor us or partner with us because we win competitions but because we are trying to be a positive face in gaming and because sadly woman are still seen as a minority in gaming and FPS games in general. If you go to our website yourself you will see that we don't make any false claims about being the best at anything but being a great place for female gamers.
