The gyaling (also spelled gya ling, gya-ling, jahlin, jah-lin, jahling, jah-ling,Rgya-gling etc.) is a double reed shawm traditional to Tibet. It is used specifically in Tibetan monasteries during puja (chanting and prayer) and to welcome lamas and rinpoches.
