[edit] Edit Summary Request

I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 18:03, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chicano poetry

Thank you for your contributions to Chicano poetry. Since it looks like nobody else has told you this, when linking within the text of an article, it is better to use double square brackets (i.e. ) than link after a word appears. That is, to link to the article Chicano poetry, write Chicano poetry rather than Chicano poetry. If you want to link, say "Chicana poet" to the same article, use the "pipe" character (usually on the same key as the \). Example: Chicana poet links to Chicano poetry. Thanks again for your contributions, and if you're interested in Mexican American topics, please feel free to check out WikiProject Mexican Americans.--Rockero 10:15, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
