Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to SubtitlesBox. Advertising, and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox", is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Douglasmtaylor T/C 12:14, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Subtitle (captioning). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Douglasmtaylor T/C 12:20, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy Deletion

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tags from articles when contesting the deletion proposition. You may add the contest notice underneath the deletion template, and not replace the template with it. Thanks, Mickthefish 12:25, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Shrek. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Douglasmtaylor T/C 12:36, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

It's not advertising, it's information, same as on cinema schedules. Can you tell me the proper way to add information?

Gwpro 12:38, 4 August 2007 (UTC) Michael

I do not think that there is a proper way for your website to be included in Wikipedia article space, hence the reason I continue to revert it. I went so far as to create an account on your website to look at it, actually, and I still think it's spam-linking. If you want to include a link, create it on your user page and put it there, but keep it out of the article space, please. Douglasmtaylor T/C 12:40, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Douglas, We have a network of websites - you have beside subtitlesbox.com sites like www.rollywood.net, www.get-weather.com, www.cinematex.ro, www.fetelamoda.com and other 20 sites, which are using the same crosspass network, you can login and review the other ones and tell me if i can include them in the wiki pages - for ex, on the shrek page can we include this page - http://www.rollywood.net/en_articles_search.php?keyword1=shrek ?

PS: SubtitlesBox.com includes original content and information, so it's complying to your site's rules. It's not bulk, spammy and other included in these categories.

Hm. I am not particularly sure. Let me see if I can find an admin to take a look at this discussion and we'll let them make decisions on it. Douglasmtaylor T/C 13:02, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi Douglas, Do you have any news for me ?

[edit] Subtitlesbox

The bigger problem is that you haven't asserted that your website is notable, see WP:WEB, and supported that with citations to reliable independent sources. NawlinWiki 13:15, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

This cannot be established by our traffic and partners - we deliver content to over 100 other websites from our domain (subtitlesbox.com only). the sites can be seen by searching online after terms like "subtitlesbox.com" and "subtitles.ro" - which is the old site, now redirected to subtitlesbox.com.

PS: I don't understand how can I introduce one site into wikipedia? we have traffic, we're respected and we have almost 300.000 subscribed members worldwide. This ain't enough to consider our site (or sites) as a reliable source. Also, we're online since 2003 with some of our sites.
