Christi Shake (born August 22, 1980 in the Sparrows Point/Essex area of Baltimore, Maryland) is an American model and actress. She is of Czech, German, Polish, Swedish and Dutch ancestry.[3] Shake was chosen as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for May, 2002. She has since appeared in numerous Playboy videos and special edition issues.

[edit] Early life

As a young girl, Shake started out as a tap dancer; however, her mother eventually took her out of tap dancing, since Shake felt too shy performing on stage.[4] Shake instead decided to become a cheerleader at age 11, and continued to pursue cheerleading all throughout high school.

Shake had her first crack at modeling at the age of 13, as she entered the John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center, which is the largest modeling school in the world. Shake entered and won her first pageant, dubbed Manhattan Model Search, in Pennsylvania. She competed against 1,500 other girls. After winning the pageant, Shake was offered 11 contracts, but she and her mother decided to decline the contract offers, since her mother felt that Shake was too young for the travel expectations in modeling.[4]

After graduating high school with honors at age 18, Shake engaged in some part-time modeling. She got her big break after turning 19 when she met a man at a club who introduced her to people that ran Playboy magazine.[4] Shake was a cover girl in her first ever work with Playboy, as she was featured in the March 2001 special edition of "College Girls."

Shake later met the brass of the Playboy Chicago office, who wanted to do a centerfold test shoot with her.[4] After a successful shoot in Chicago, Shake was invited to stay at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, while doing some more shooting. She eventually got word that she was chosen to be a centerfold for Playboy. The issue she was featured in turned out to be for May 2002. After the issue was released, Shake embarked on trips all across the world, as she was interviewed in Japan, New Zealand, Trinidad and the United States.[4] She has since continued modeling for Playboy.

Shake was also featured in the video game, Street Racing Syndicate, as one of the game's "girlfriends."

Bobbi Eden has been a glamour model since 1998. She placed second in a contest for Dutch Penthouse Pet of the Year. After that she did several modeling jobs in Europe, which included lingerie catalogues, shoe advertising and weekly magazines. During an interview on Hannity and Colmes Thursday, former candidate Fred Thompson was dismissive of a potential VP offer from Sen. McCain and said he would decline the number two spot even if the presumptive GOP nominee offered it up.

THOMPSON: No. That’s not in the cards, Sean. That’s not what I want.

HANNITY: Why?

THOMPSON: Well, it’s not — it’s not — mainly, it’s not what I want. And I don’t think that call would ever happen. I think John needs somebody else. I would advise him, if he asked me, that he needs somebody else and of a different profile.

It’s not what I want. The presidency is the only job in town that’s worth going through what you’ve got to go through to get it. And that includes the vice presidency and all of the rest of them, as far as I’m concerned.

And I thought I had an opportunity to do some things a different way. And if I was successful, I could lead in a different way. That didn’t work out. I’m interested in absolutely nothing else other than doing what I can to help those who are trying to help this country, and be a good citizen and do those things that I can do now in the private sector to help these kids and grandchildren.

But that does not involve, you know, going to state funerals in faraway places
